Refund policy

Thank you for choosing Aussie Transfer Co.
We specialise in producing custom DTF transfers printed to customer-supplied artwork and specifications.
Please read the following policy carefully, as it outlines when refunds, replacements, or credits may be available.

1. Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the custom-made nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

We will, however, offer a replacement, credit, or refund where appropriate if the product supplied:

  • Has been misprinted

  • Is materially flawed

  • Is defective due to a manufacturing or printing fault

If you believe your order falls into one of these categories, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, providing:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Clear photos showing the fault

Once assessed, and if approved, we will arrange a reprint, credit, or refund at our discretion.

2. Manufacturing Tolerances

The following tolerances are considered acceptable industry standards and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges:

  • Print size: ±1cm

  • Gang sheet trimming: minor variance due to cutting process

  • Colour variation: slight variation between screen preview and printed output is normal due to differences in colour profiles, inks, and substrates

3. Application & Pressing Responsibility

Aussie Transfer Co is responsible for supplying correctly printed transfers.
We are not responsible for issues arising after application, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect press temperature, pressure, or dwell time

  • Incorrect peeling method

  • Unsuitable garments or substrates

  • Improper aftercare

Transfers that fail due to application error are not eligible for refunds or replacements.

4. Customer File & Artwork Responsibility

By submitting artwork and completing payment, you confirm that:

  • Artwork is correct, approved, and ready for production

  • Spelling, sizing, orientation, and layout have been reviewed

  • Files supplied are suitable for printing

We do not proof or modify customer artwork unless an artwork service has been purchased.

Aussie Transfer Co accepts no responsibility for:

  • Incorrect files supplied

  • Low-resolution artwork

  • Colour discrepancies caused by supplied files

5. Australian Consumer Law

This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If a product is found to have a major manufacturing defect or does not meet acceptable quality standards, you may be entitled to a remedy under the ACL. This policy does not exclude or limit those rights.

6. Return Timeframes

  • Claims must be lodged within 7 days of delivery

  • Items may need to be returned for assessment

  • Returned items must be unused and unpressed

7. Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, reasonable return shipping costs may be reimbursed
